GUIDE

How to clean

Keeping your wax melter clean is simple and ensures long-lasting performance. Follow these easy steps after each use:

  1. Empty the Wax: After pouring out all the melted wax, make sure the melter is empty.
  2. Fill with Water: Add water to the bucket (do not exceed the MAX limit).
  3. Heat the Water: Turn on the power switch and set the temperature to 212°F (100°C). Let the water come to a boil, then turn off the power.
  4. Add Cleaning Solution: Mix in a small amount of citric acid or white vinegar to help break down wax residue.
  5. Scrub Gently: Using a wooden stick, stir the water and wipe the inside of the bucket with a cloth.
  6. Drain & Dry: Open the spout to drain the water completely, then wipe the inside with a dry towel.
  7. Store Properly: Once the inside is completely dry, close the lid and store your melter for next time.

⚠️ Safety Tip: Always wear heat-resistant gloves while cleaning to prevent burns.

How to Fix a Clogged Spout

If your wax melter’s spout gets clogged, try this quick fix:

Apply Heat: Use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up the spout. This will loosen any hardened wax and get it flowing again.

Be Patient: Allow the heat to work for a few moments before testing the flow.

Prevent Future Clogs: After each use, make sure to fully drain the wax and wipe the spout clean to avoid buildup.

⚠️ Safety Tip: Always use caution when applying heat to avoid burns. Wear heat-resistant gloves if needed.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Experiencing Inaccurate Temp. Readings

If your ToAuto Wax Melter’s temperature seems off, here’s what to know:

Use a Reliable Thermometer:

For the most accurate readings, we recommend using a pen probe thermometer instead of relying solely on the built-in display.

Understand Normal Variations:

Some temperature fluctuation is completely normal.
Once the set temperature is reached, the residual heat from the heating plate may cause the wax to continue warming slightly.
Allow 5 minutes before measuring the temperature for the most stable reading. A variation of ±18°F (±10°C) is within the expected range.
