Taxes & Customs Duties
- Transparency in Pricing We believe in transparent pricing. The prices displayed on our website include the product and standard shipping costs (where applicable). However, as we ship globally from our manufacturing facilities, international orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes.
- Policy for United States Customers. Good News: Generally, orders valued under $800 USD enter the United States duty-free (Section 321, Tariff Act of 1930).
High-Value Items: For industrial equipment (like large melting furnaces) exceeding $800, US Customs may impose import duties. These are government-mandated fees and are the responsibility of the recipient.
- Policy for International Customers (Canada, Europe, Australia, etc.) To offer the most competitive product pricing, we ship on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis.
What this means: Local VAT, GST, or import duties are not included in your checkout total.
Who collects it: These fees are determined and collected by your local customs authority, not by Toautotool.
Payment Process: The shipping carrier (e.g., FedEx/DHL) will typically contact you before delivery to arrange payment. This is a standard procedure for international imports. - Refusal of Delivery: We urge you to check potential costs with your local customs office before ordering.
If a package is returned to us because the buyer refused to pay customs fees, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping cost AND the return shipping cost. These amounts will be deducted from your refund.
